I kept wishing I could find a way to listen to web content while driving or doing chores and was frustrated that the standard browser could not do this. Then I found this app! It does everything I hoped for and even more! The free Daniel voice was decent enough but I really liked the British Amy and Brian voices and purchased them. Well worth it for such natural sounding voices. They sound perfect at 186 speed. Kudos to the developer for such a well-done app! This app should be on all phones. Thank you!

App was working great for a long time but suddenly started crashing (on Christmas day). I emailed support and the responsive Capti support team corrected the problem within a few hours. I was soon back to using my favorite App again!

My Ivana voice Joey stopped working. Contacted support and they got it working promptly. Great support team. Thank you.

Use all the time it is a great way to get through reading youd otherwise miss out on. Keep it up !

Love it, and now I "read" even more greedily!! Please introduce a speed that is at >75 and <100, 100 is sometimes too fast!

This is a must-have app for those people that dont really have time to read articles during the day. You can set up this app to have articles ready to dictate on your drive home or just too tired to read an article . Just get this app!!!

This app is seriously the best app on my iPhone. And I have been an iPhone user since almost the beginning. I can turn virtually anything… Including my e-books into audiobooks and play them in a variety of voices at any speed I choose. I would pay $50 for this app. But it was free!

It wont send a voice file too bad iOS Version 8.2

This is an app that is used every day. Love being read to. After a tiring day, the last thing I want is another computer to look at to read. Its great to pic an item or book, rest my eyes and just listen.

If you do any amount of research and commonly do that research on your phone then Having an app which allows you to copy and paste papers and pages to be read off to you much like a podcast is a huge time saver!!! This app company rocks!!!! THANK YOU

This is an extremely useful app. If the creators are reading this, please make the browser upload a little smoother than it is.. The browser is a bit rudimentary and on my Six plus can only afford three tabs or so, is glitchy with loading bookmarked pages, and selecting from a page toward the bottom end thereof is problematic because of the apps transparent text-overlay at the bottom of the page that gets in the way of text-selection. Also request a Readability/ Longform tab in this wonderful app! Thank you for making the only narrator app on iOS worth keeping!

Umano was an app with real voice actors reading content from 1000s of blogs, printed text, self published stories. Unfortunately it is no more as 12 June 2015. This is the best app I have found to replace it. No current curated content, but a can send links, copy and paste, hook to storage services like drop box and the app will read the material. Voices are not live, but there are multiple free and paid voices to choose from. It is worth paying for better quality voices for 2 reasons. 1. The experience of listening to the material and 2. If we want quality apps we need to support the people taking the time and energy to create tools that have the ability to change the way we live and enrich our lives beyond using an hand held computer to play bird games.

And does it nicely. Good thing, because so far I havent found an alternative. Its missing The jump forward and back in 15 second increments you can do on podcasts (for iPhone). I would consider the paid version if it offered that, but it just offers additional voices.

Wonderful! Perfect for the student without spare time. I upload my notes from Dropbox and listen to my notes while commuting. Great way to study on the go!

Every paragraph repeated twice... Oh and it takes forever for articles to "load"

Handy tool in increasing ones ability to multitask in todays busy society.

Wow. I can add all kinds of articles from the Internet plus PDF files to the play lists. There is also a wonderful selection of classic novels and other books for free. That being said, it still takes extra concentration to listen to an automated voice for a long time. It works very well with mindless activities like driving. Other activities, not so much. The voice technology does appear to be an improvement over the nuance based technologies. Audible is still my daily go to app for entertainment and learning new things. There is nothing like having a professional actor read a book.
