You have to buy the voices. Scape las group for $1.99 up to $5.99!!!! Only reads URL. Tried to use Dropbox links to read PDF but doesnt work.... Piety!!!

This app is great! But please improve the design cause is terrible.

This is the best TTS web reader I have tried so far. Good speech engine and pretty good GUI though I dont know why the app settings are not accessible from within the app or why "Read Now" does not seem to work and user settings for the WPM and voice gender dont seem to work either. The browser does work well and the playlist works very well so all told i still consider this the best TTS browser for iPhone despite the above mentioned bugs.

So far I am liking what Im seeing. A way to get your links into this app would be needed, integrating it with your Safari or Chrome links.

Capti is an extremely useful and easy to use app for reading text aloud. I love to read but sometimes its nice to just listen, especially if Im busy doing something like cooking or cleaning. Great for news articles, magazine stories, web pages, books, whatever. This app loads it up and talks away. If you dont like reading books - use Capti to read them for you. The option to use different voices is great because youll be able to find the voice you enjoy listening to the most. Makes a big difference. Definitely recommend this app. Enjoy!

I use this App to read to me when I am driving.

It does everything I need! I can listen to my books while exercising, and keep up with mu reading goals... Very happy!

Been using this app for a few years now. No issues. The latest version wont start unless you create an account and log in into their account. No thank you. Ill give you 1 star for this. Dang... Here you go, you deserved it.

When working with VO I try to add a couple of articles the app would instantly disappear. Afterwards there is no way to open Capty other then removing it all together from the device (iPhone 5 that is) and reinstalling it all over. Please, help cause other than that I do enjoy the app very much.

It works good to pdf and documents. It save many of my time. Wonderful!

This app is so awesome!! I love the fact that it is available not only for iPhone and iPad, but that they have a companion website that offers the same features. Also, it lets you access files on Dropbox and other cloud services. You can choose which voice you want and the speed. I’ve tried using other text-to=speech apps, but they don’t offer nearly as much flexibility as Capti has. I’m surprised this app is being offered for free. It’s really excellent. I’ve tried using other text-to-speech apps, but they don’t have nearly the flexibility and features that Capti offers. If you want a good quality text-to-speech app, Capti is a very good choice.

Last update, deletes everything and allows you to pay for it, no more free. Thanks for the heads up. Why do this to the sight impaired community?! Its a real shame. Terrible rollout.

One of the great benefits of the app was being able to listen to text while on the train without Internet access. Since the last update the app makes you sign in and you cant sign in without Internet access. Please fix this bug in this otherwise awesome app. Options to go forward or back 30 seconds and 2 minutes would also be a great improvement.

Love the way I can collect my articles and have them all read to me while I drive or cut the grass. Well done Capti.

Cool app for the blind/visually impaired!!!

Thats the great app! I used it for the TOEFL preparations and some other exams- it was a very useful app, especially for the reading and listening parts,which were the most difficult for me, I just simply added texts into playlist and kept listening . Was surprised by the quality of the voices- was nice and clear, catching almost all the details.

One of the best free text to speech apps I have found.
