Купил в надежде, что технологии действительно далеко ушли. Ан нет. Все так же икая, сухо и без интонации, путая ударения "железный" голос несет из динамика то, что я хотел бы, но в такой подаче - не могу, усвоить...

Программа нестабильно работает. Постоянно выбрасывает из приложения. Пытаюсь скачать выбранный голос, программа выкидывает. Разработчикам большая просьба доработать приложение!

У меня в системе включено чтение вслух и скачаны голоса. Программа на данный момент бесплатна. Что мы получаем? Дополнительные голоса стоят денег. Например, русские Вы можете добавить за 200 с чем-то рублей. Без регистрации программа не даёт даже прослушать демо конкретного голоса перед скачиванием. Мне казалось, это вам нужно, чтобы я захотел докупить голос, не мне. Океееей, пользуемся теми, что есть. Что мы ещё получаем? Интеграция с Pocket, выводящая статьи в незнакомом мне порядке? Допустим, я ухитрился найти что-то, меня интересующее. Дальше оно должно скачать статью в себя, даже если она уже скачана в Pocket. Что мы имеем в итоге. Системные голоса и плэйлист из страниц. Всё это можно было бы организовать в том же Pocket тэгами, только переключаться по плэйлисту пришлось бы вручную. Система прочла бы тексты точно так же и тем же голосом. Всё остальное платно. Идея интересная, но есть ли смысл в такой реализации?

Программой доволен ! Даже при возникновение неполадок , служба поддержки работает хорошо , отвечают быстро и решают возникшие проблемы, спасибо!

Отличное приложение, приятные голоса, не верится даже, что читалка может звучать почти что как хорошая аудиокнига!

Чуть в окончаниях и ударениях есть ошибки но плюсы огромны.

i love this app so much, i use it religiously everyday, but a few days ago it totally stopped working :( it won’t let me add any form of ebook or article. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling, getting a new account, etc, but nothing’s working. i hope it’s just a problem on my end i can resolve, but it’s really bringing me down. also, whenever i tried to purchase the premium plan, it wouldn’t load fully. i’m not sure how to fix that either. a few times i’ve added too many ebooks and it starts to stop working as well. that’s why i’m giving 4* instead of 5*. love this app! i wish i could support the amazing developers through the monthly subscription, but i might need to start using another app if this doesn’t resolve itself.

The UI has gotten better but it’s still buggy. The TTS would randomly stop sometimes and I might even have to reboot my phone to fix it.

I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with buggy text readers, but Capti just works and works well. I don’t use a lot of the fancy features of it, mostly just copy and paste to create something to read, but I like the built-in voice options. No need for high priced “celebrity” voices!

I needed premium service so I could import .pdf’s from one drive for listening while driving. My paid subscription went through and I’m able to see confirmation in my Apple ID Subscriptions. Yet every time I try to import I get a message that in need Premium service, even though, I already paid for and subscribed to the service. I sent an email to the company with the picture of then message along with confirmation of my Apple ID subscription receipt. It was a while before I received a response. When I did I was told that they only have one tech support person who isn’t available. I asked when they would be available so I could get this resolved. They said in about a week. When I followed up they told me my info was submitted. I asked what the resolution is and they told me they don’t know and I could request a refund through Apple if necessary. I told them I would rather get the issue resolved. That was a month ago and now they just ignore me. What an absolute garbage app and garbage support.

Have capti on iPod touch for my son. Can’t connect to bookshare because keyboard covers the login/submit button, and can’t hide keyboard. Works fine on larger screens. It’s the little things.

It continues to glitch and repeat the same lines frequently now 4/27 Now it skips the first word in sentences sometimes please fix bc I love this app

I am avid user of text to speech apps. After using many, this one has the best voices at the most decent price. Other apps with the same voices are so expensive! It let’s me organize everything the way I want. I like it very much.

Does what it’s supposed to do and does it well. No frills but they aren’t needed. Maybe better naming of imported items but it’s NBD.

The Capti team was quickly responsive and kind when I expressed my consternation (where did all those menu items go?) With some help, therefore, I found the new location of the revised menu sidebar (hint: it's inside the playlist). I still love this app. PS. Sometimes my purchased voice/s disappear but usually come back after a reboot. iOs 🤷‍♀️ the ever changing ui.

Ok so I used to use Voice Aloud Reader, and don’t get me wrong I really liked the app but was not willing to pay the price. I’d have to wait 30 minutes in between small portions of the text for it to be able to read it aloud and it got so frustrating, especially when it’s so difficult for me to focus on anything (and the fact that I’m a huge bookworm and love reading & writing does not help heh). Now, I use this and it’s really a life saver. Functions AMAZINGLY for free. The controls are a bit weird and confusing to use at first, but once you get used to all of it, it’s super clear and easy to use! I really love this app and it’s helped me significantly! Thank you! P.s: I highly suggest the voice Daniel at 220 wpm!

The app is currently usable, unable to login due to the server being “unable to complete your request.” Honestly I don’t even know why they require you to make an account to even use the app. 1/5 Until they fix this.

I have purchased a voice but today it stopped working can not choose it in a manu, only delete option (((

I recieved an email response to requesting support for app crashing repeatedly that basically told me not to use the app, go to desktop instead. I've enjoyed using the app for roughly a year to listen to my college textbooks that my school's disability services people were able to get for me and now rather than troubleshooting the app repeatedly crashing or offering an update fixing the known iOS issues, I'm suppose to just go elsewhere. Don't bother downloading because it's just going to disappoint you.

App is simple and works good, but does not have compatibility with control center. This means, when you lock your phone, you will be able to hear the speech, but you will not be able to pause it. You will have to unlock, open the app, and pause it there. Such a hassle and I’m only giving it 4 stars cause they put night mode in.

This is a great lil app. I love how I can listen and read along at the same time due to ADHD. You gifted me with the love of reading again, because reading along with Capti helped me focus and I don’t have to keep reading the same paragraph like ten times because I became distracted and lost focus.

Being able to set the speed of the speech is quite impressive :) I hope this app be more approachable for students who feel it hard to read. Cheers

Looks useful, but could not log in- I used the Facebook log in method and got an error notice. Not sure I want to sign in through Google to give access to any more information at this point.

I’m a doctoral candidate and this helps so much with reading articles and highlighting and making notes. I found this a few years back and I pay the monthly fee, but I don’t mind because Capti gives me back MY time in the day and that’s priceless. But, I can use pdf, word, or I’m sure excel but that seems redundant. I can can import from google drive or iCloud or onedrive, or write new text. I have even copied my long text messages and had Capti read them while I do other things. And change the voice and the speed. I pay for the monthly mainly for the voice choices, but their are standard free options if you don’t do monthly. I wish it were cheaper, but that’s because no one likes spending money when they don’t have to.

I can’t add anything to listen to because apparently adding content is a premium feature. There’s no point in downloading this app unless you intend to subscribe after the 1-week trial. They use a 1-week trial because a lot of people forget to cancel. No thanks.

I like this app a lot. I tried a few other apps that do text to speech. This one almost has everything that I am looking for. 1. It allows for browser loading and pulling the text into the reading queue. The addition to the queue log is pretty fast. I am amazed how easy and fast it is. 2. It will keep reading through the queue and doesn’t require prompting. This is great for when I am reading a book late at night and falling asleep to the monotonous voice, I don’t sudden get jolted out of my slumber due to the sudden change. tip: If you put your phone on silent, it will vibrate when it moves to the next article. You would have to turn off the vibrate while on silent to make it stop vibrating. Things that could be improved are: 1. The voice - you can not change the pitch and other attributes to improve on the voice. Also, there are many system voices but you are limited to just the handfuls and you have to buy from a specific list in order to get other voices in the app. I wish I could add the customized voice that I want. 2. You can not select where to start again. You have to go according to the app’s progress or page separation. Thanks for making this app, developers!!

Keeps glitching as in it will start over or go backa few min

This app is an integral part of my day. I use it to capture news, long form articles and even for reviewing documents. My only desire is that a Watch app would come along. Its the only app that keeps me bringing my phone on runs and the gym.

I’ve been using Capti for a few years now, and have used all methods for adding content. I find that copying the url is usually easiest unless there’s a lot of extraneous text at the top or bottom and then I just copy the text I want to be read and paste into Capti. I don’t have a lot of time to sit and read articles so it’s nice to load up a playlists for listening while driving, washing dishes, whatever. It’s awesome! I have even loaded up online books from free-book website (like the Chinese light novels that my teen son got me into.) With some books I have to copy multiple urls so that takes a bit of trial and error depending how the book’s pages are set up, but I can load one playlist with all of the pages or chapters in a book pretty quickly and then the book will be read seamlessly from the playlist. Honestly the only thing better would be an app that just reads the page you’re on (not sure that exists for iOS.) 😁👍

I really gave this app a shot, tried multiple different angles and trial to get it to work, tried importing from different places. I am sorry to say that really, this app doesn’t work :/. I hope there’s an update that will improve the importing, the reading part works good.

I paid for the premium membership and literally every time I try to load a PDF into the app, it crashes or it fails to upload. Garbage.

This is the best app I have been able to find for iOS. I was able to download the voices that I wanted. Books load nice from Gutenberg. The only problem I have is there is no way to edit books loaded from other sources. I like to get the junk out so that the book reads smoother.

I use this app to read books from it because I have dyslexia so it help me to read a book. I love using this app for then I have a to read book for school and books I read by myself.

I just paid the monthly subscription in order to import a book in pdf and after i imported it it isnt reading it right. It just says letter that im not sure where it is getting from. I tried contacting customer service and they have been ignoring me. This is a scam! i would like my money back!

I paid $20 for this and since Capti has changed and wants money every month! I used to like but now I can use IPhone to read for me. I’m not made of money Capti! Two thumbs down 👎👎

This App is a total ripoff n it doesn’t give you a chance to finish reading the page you’re reading or go back where you started reading.

Samantha’s was the only one I liked. Now she’s a man. I’ll be looking for a new app. I loved it prior to today.

There is one issue with the current version. Sometimes it jumps backwards and repeats some section over and over. This problem is related to network connection. Once connected, it jumps backward. It seems something is wrong with the sync module... Another issue is that, loading a book requires network connection, because it defaults to uploading the book to website. This feature should be optional.

Not a user friendly app. Impossible to get to work without errors. And, speech is slightly off - either too fast or slow. Until navigation, content and speech patterns are fixed and made to work properly, this app will remain a dream awaiting to awaken from a nightmare!

I naught the bucks so I could do my articles and when I snap a picture it either does not process it or it shuts down. Before you guys start charging people please make sure your equipment works. I’ve been a Capti user for a long time please don’t disappoint please fix the glitches in your system. Or return my money because I’ve already wasted two or three bucks on taking pictures Only to be bumped off or the little red exclamation point flash.

Neither really works well for me after endless attempts, I’m running on all the latest iOS and macOS. Voices are very good, when you can finally get to reading a book. Testing alternatives.

This is one of the best text-to-speech apps on iOS. It is actually more stable and cleaner in design than its competitors. Very impressive.

It doesn't work, it keeps failing to add my book files to the app and I never managed to make it actually read something to me

Productivity is over 9000 so you know it’s serious. I have a focus issue, who really wants to read their textbook verbatim? This app has me finishing a chapter per day compared to doing one every 2-3 days. I hope they continue to improve the voices in this app and maybe have a premium voice for medical words, that would be cool 👌🏼😬

Ever since the update if I am reading a book and go to a different app it will no longer keep my page. It doesn't matter what boom it always starts at the beginning. Please fix. It was fine before the last update.

To be able to add much more content in a much easier way, Capti Voice Narrator should be AirDrop enabled. Without this capability, I find adding content to this app on the iPhone rather difficult. I found a perfect article I would’ve liked for this app to read in Flipboard, but there is no way to actually share it. FS one feature was added, this app would probably be perfect.

This app is going to save me in graduate school!
